Last Year's Achievements

The Friends of Great Lines Heritage Park 2nd annual general meeting (AGM) took place on 29th February 2012. The Committee has been elected for the following year. The outgoing chairman Chris Price thanked the committee members for their contributions over the past year, which included designing the logo, setting up a bank account & obtaining funds for leaflets and promotional material.
The Friends of Great Lines Heritage Park have received donations from Western Heights Preservation Society and from Gillingham and Rainham Historical Society in recognition of talks and presentations given by the Vice Chair, Pam Wood, now Chairperson. The talks were very well received and now members are coming to visit the Great Lines Heritage Park for themselves. FoGLHP has been particularly successful in forging links with other community groups and historical societies and looks forward to arranging more interesting talks.
